Well, Pi is probably a normal number. That means that, statistically, you can&#039;t distinguish between a binary representation of Pi and a series of coin tosses.

Just as a million monkeys typing will eventually rewrite the works of Shakespeare, an infinite number of coin tosses will eventually produce the bits of the HD DVD key. And not just once but an infinite number of times.

Thus the HD-DVD key is simply part of Pi, just like 3.14. (Of course, an astute lawyer would point out that all digital media can be represented as a series of bits, so *everything* is part of Pi.)</description>
